As I love chatting to my friends about the books they’ve read, I’ve decided to record some of our discussions and share them with everyone. Today’s guest is Oliver Rogers who I worked with at BBC Essex many years ago.  He is a big fan of Ian Rankin’s Inspector Rebus novels, and his lockdown discovery has been Anna Karenina.

Since leaving BBC Local Radio in 2011 he has worked as a press officer in the water industry and is now a civil servant. He can be heard presenting Chelmsford Chatting between 12-2pm on Sundays on Chelmsford Community Radio 104.4FM (www.chelmsfordcommunityradio.com) with a wide selection of interview guests from the world of music and the arts. Oliver enjoys many genres of fiction, – not just crime! He has spent some of lockdown getting through a few classics and catching up on plenty of those books on the to read pile. He’s on Goodreads with reviews and keen to connect. [Goodreads link in full: https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/48473367-oliver-rogers]
